The light of learning facilities in remote schools in Indonesia is big problem. Refers to the limitations or in insufficiency of etiquette facilities and infrastructure, such as study rooms that are not suitable for use, and rooms that are no longer habitable. So the teaching and learning process is hamoered. I think this has negative impacts, such as a lack of effectiveness in learning low quality of education and low interest in learning in Indonesia.

First the lack of learning facilities in remote schools in Indonesia has an impact on the ineffectiveness of learning. According to data from Central Bureau of Statistics in 2020 as many as 27.6% of students in Indonesia do not have access to adequate learning facilities. Furthermore a study  conducted by the Indonesian University of education or UPI in 2019 revealed that students attending schools with sufficient facilities tend to out  perform their peers in schools with inadequate facilities, with average score increase of 15,6%.

Second, the quality of education is also impacted. According to data from the programmer for international study assessment or PISA in 2018, Indonesia ranked 73 out of 78 countries in terms of education quality issues. Furthermore research conducted by Balitbang Kemendikbud in 2020 round that schools in remote areas have lower education quality compared to schools in urban areas.

Lastly, low learning interest. According to data from BPS in 2020, revealed that 44,1%  of Indonesian students lack a strong interest in learning. This indicates that the learning interests of students in Indonesia is still low. Furthermore a study conducted by the state university of Malang or UM in 2019 found the students who learn in schools with educate facilities have a higher interest in learning compare to students who learn in schools with inadequate facilities.

Many remote schools in Indonesia lack proper learning facilities, leading to low learning effectiveness, poor education quality, and low student interest. Therefore, the government needs to provide adequate and quality learning facilities in these schools.
