The government’s policy of implementing school holiday during the month of Ramadhan can provide significant benefits for students, such as increasing the focus on worship for Muslim students without neglecting the confort of non-Muslim students, strengthening family bonds, and maintaining students’ stamina and health to remain optimal while fasting.

One, With holiday during Ramadhan, Muslim students can focus more on religious practices such as Tarawih prayers, reading the Qur’an, and fasting without the burden of school assignments. Meanwhile, non-Muslim students can also use this time to rest, develop their hobbies, or engage in activities that support their academic and personal growth.

Two, The Ramadan holiday provides an opportunity for students who live away from home both Muslim and non-Muslim to return to their hometowns and spend time with their families. Muslim students can perform religious activities such as sahur, Tarawih, and iftar with their families, while non-Muslim students can enjoy more quality time with their parents.

Three, Fasting while participating in a full academic schedule can drain students energy. A school holiday policy allows them to establish a better rest pattern, helping them stay healthy and fit throughout Ramadhan.

Seeing all the benefits, i believe that school holiday program during Ramadhan is quite good.  Student can focus more on worship and care of their families, in addition, non-muslim students can also use the holiday time for meaning full activities.
