The eradication of corruption is a systematic effort to prevent, detect, and punish for corrupt actions. Corruption eradication is not only the responsibility of the goverment but also of all levels of sociaty. Active participation from citizen is crucial to create a clean government and environment free from corrupt practices.  I agree, that there is a need to eradicate corruption. Eradicating corruption can increase public trust in the goverment, prevent state losses, and strengthen law enforcement.

The first, when corruption is eradicated, the public will see that the government is serious about carrying out its duties with integrity. This will increase public trust in the government because they feel that their interests are protected and prioritized. High public trust will encourage community participation in development and public policy oversight.

The second, corruption often causes significant financial losses to the state. By eradicating corruption, public funds can be used more effectively and efficiently for infrastructure development, education, and healthcare services. This will improve the overall welfare of society and reduce the economic burden on the state.

The third, strong law enforcement is the foundation of a just and civilized society. By eradicating corruption, the legal system will become more transparent and accountable. This will ensure that the law is enforced impartially and all lawbreakers receive appropriate punishment. Strong law enforcement will also prevent future corruption.

To achieve the goal of eradicating corruption, cooperation between the government, society, and law enforcement agencies is needed. In order to increase public trust in the goverment, reduce finansial losses to the state, and create strong law enforcement. Anti-corruption education should start early and be included in the school curriculum. Additionally, transparency and accountability in government must be enhanced to prevent opportunities for corruption. Active public participation in monitoring public policies is also crucial to ensure that the government acts in the public interest.

The Mental Strength of People In The Past Was Stronger Compared To The Mental Strength of Children Today

Mental is a way of thinking and feeling based on conscience that is reflected in a person's behavior. Dan I agree, that the mentality of people in the past is often considered stronger compared to children today. This can be seen in the way they faced difficulties and life challenges. Because people in the past lived more difficult lives, had stronger life values, and had closer solidarity and togetherness.

First, people in the past lived more difficult lives with limited resources and technology. They often had to really struggle or work hard to meet their daily needs. Example; they had to work hard in the fields and factories to meet their daily needs, and due to technological limitations, they had to walk or use bicycles to go to school or work. So, experiences like this unknowingly make their mentality resilient. They are used to facing difficulties and do not easily give up because they are already trained by the harshness of life.

Second, stronger life values, people in the past were taught to help each other, not be wasteful, and have an unwavering spirit when facing problems. Because they believe that hard work, patience, and perseverance are the most important values for achieving success. Values like these become their guiding principles, making their mindset stronger in facing challenges.

Lastly, their solidarity and togetherness were stronger. The relationships between families and neighbors in the past were usually closer. They help each other and rely on one another when times are tough. Strong social support like this is the source of great mental strength. Unlike now, in daily life it still feels lacking. Example; a teenager might have a thousand (1000) friends on Instagram, but when they face personal issues like academic difficulties or family problems, they might struggle to find even one of their online friends. Who can be talked to directly, exchanging thoughts face to face. The help provided on social media is often limited to comments like "keep it up!" or "you can do it!", which, although well-intentioned, do not compare to the emotional support from direct conversations or physical presence. This can make someone feel increasingly isolated when facing problems, as they feel that no one can understand or help.

So, it is indeed true that the mentality of people from the past often considered stronger compared to children now a days. Because people in the past lived more difficult lives, their life values were stronger, and their solidarity and togetherness were closer. Therefore, to strengthen children's mental challenges with perseverance, in still positive values, and strengthen social relationship in the real world.

The Negative Impacts of Teenage Dating

The Negative Impacts of Teenage Dating

Adolescence is a transitional period between childhood and adulthood, typically occuring between the ages of 10-18. During this time, adolescents experience physical, emotional, and psychological changes. This includes the development of interest in the opposite sex, often manifested as "dating". Dating is defined as the process of knowing and understanding the opposite sex and building closer relationships as preparation for more serious commitment. However, for adolescents, the purpose of dating tends to focus more on status and the pursuit of pleasure. Therefore, I agree that dating during adolescence has negative impacts because adolescents are not emotionally, physique, and socially prepared to face the challenges in a romantic relationship, such as disruption to education, risk of sexual behavior, and loss of adolescent development experiences.

First, adolescents aged 10-18, who are emotionally immature, are not yet ready for a healthy and responsible romantic relationship.  The emotional development of adolescents is still unstable because the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for rational decision-making and emotional control, does not fully develop until around the age of 25.  Consequently, adolescents tend to be impulsive and have difficulty considering the long-term consequences of their relationships, which can disrupt their education.  Research by students at National Taiwan University found that adolescents in romantic relationships have lower academic achievement compared to those who are not, due to excessive preoccupation with their partners, leading to difficulty concentrating and stress from their relationships, which impacts academic performance.

Secondly, adolescents are not fully physically prepared for romantic relationships involving sexual aspects. Although reproductive organs begin to develop, they have not yet reached optimal physiological maturity. Unstable hormonal changes make it difficult for adolescents to control sexual impulses.  A World Health Organization article on adolescent pregnancy, published April 10, 2024, highlights the high global rate of teenage pregnancies, with many engaging in sexual activity without understanding the consequences for reproductive health and without adequate protection.  This high risk of sexual behavior is due to a lack of education for adolescents, which can disrupt their education and future prospects.

Finally, adolescents are not socially prepared to balance romantic relationships with other social responsibilities. They tend to neglect broader social development by focusing excessively on their romantic partner. An article from SMK Kosgoro 1 Lawang notes that dating during adolescence can hinder personal development and reduce interaction with friends and family; time that should be used for exploring interests and talents is diverted to dating.  They often neglect schoolwork and reduce participation in extracurricular activities, resulting in a loss of the adolescent experience.

In conclusion, teenage dating carries significant negative consequences due to adolescents' lack of emotional, physical, and social readiness. Therefore, the roles of parents, schools, and media are crucial in guiding adolescents to prioritize self-development, education, and character building to better prepare them for the future.
