Climate change is a significant change in weather patterns, air temperature, rainfall. Climate change is caused by human activities, such as the increasing in greenhouse gas emissions, which leads to global warming. Global warming is the rise in temperature that causes changes in weather patterns, climate change, industrial and agricultural pollution, and harmful emissions such as methane from livestock. Currently, the average global temperature has increased significantly, especially in the last few decades. If this continues, it can cause negative effects, such as a decrease in the quality of agricultural products, a higher risk of natural disasters, and negative impacts on human health in Indonesia
First, climate change reduces the quality of agricultural products. Uncertain weather, such as longer dry seasons or excessive rainfall, makes it hard for crops to grow well. This causes poor harvests and affects food availability in Indonesia.
Second, climate change increases the risk of natural disasters. Higher temperatures can cause forest fires, floods, and landslides. Indonesia is an archipelago that is prone to disasters, so climate change makes people more vulnerable to major losses.
Third, climate change gives bad effects on human health. Hot air and rising pollution can cause diseases, such as respiratory infections and skin problems. Children and the elderly are the groups most easily affected by this impact.
Based on the statements above, global climate change gives real and dangerous impacts to Indonesia. It affects the quality of agricultural products, increases the risk of natural disasters, and brings threats to human health. Therefore, we all need to be more aware of and care about the environment. Small actions like reducing pollution and protecting nature are very important for a safer and healthier future.
